Passive Defense Approach in the Spatial Zoning of Temporary Accommodation Camps Using the Method of Compilation (AHP-FUZZY, GIS) (a Case Study: Region 8 in Tehran)

Abstract

Many of Iran's major and densely-populated cities are located in areas with high natural hazards. This great city of Tehran, particularly in crisis situations will face irreparable financial and life loss . What seems necessary through this situation is checking the appropriate space area camps for temporary housing after the emergency with respect to the passive defense and the safety and welfare of victims. For this purpose, space zoning,  considering the impact assessment process due to effective measures (Access to roads and open spaces, community health centers, police stations, fire stations, disaster management centers, petrol stations and population density) have been done  using fusion techniques and GIS (AHP-FUZZY) MCDM analysis of spatial data. Finally, the space areas suitable for temporary housing of disaster victims in Tehran’s district 8 recommendations have been evaluated and suggested.
