This study was intended to evaluate the effects of passive defense parameters on passive defense at Shiraz Railroad Station against airborne threats. The research method used in this study, is descriptive in terms of objective , and applied in terms of results, and quantitative in terms of data. The target population for this study is the passive defense experts in the field of railways, whose number is estimated over 100 and based on Morgan Chart, the scope of sample was determined about 74 people. Research tool was field study and questionnaires distributed among all members of the population. Sampling in this study was of purposeful type.
The results showed that the solutions of (1) anticipating dual-purpose shelters for staff and passengers, (2) securing passenger lounge, and (3) the creation of a crisis management system respectively received the highest average score in the passive defense of the railroad station in Shiraz against airborne threats.
