Abstract

Urban landscapes, especially urban parks, are considered one of the most important urban spaces and can play an important role in crisis situations. Based on this, the aim of the current research is to Analyzing and identifying the indicators of urban parks planning and design with passive defense approach. In order to achieve the goal of the research, library resources were used to write the introduction and semi-structured interviews with the experts in two stages in order to achieve the indicators, and the statistical population consisted of 17 experts. In the first interview, the indicators were extracted, and then in the second          interview, the importance of the indicators was determined by forming the actor-target (expert-indicator) matrix. In the following, the data extracted from the interviews were entered into Mactor software and Atlas TI software and analyzed. The results showed that the design indicators of axes with the ability to move cars, designing large spaces for camping, using accident-resistant furniture, designing multiple gazebo spaces for accommodation, creating public security and safety, appropriate location of urban parks,       appropriate and convenient access, creating acceptable lighting, creating legibility on the routes, designing spaces for shelter and using loudspeakers at the park level is the most frequent, important, and convergent indicator, and preventing the creation of invisible spaces is the least frequent, least important, and          divergent indicator in planning and designing urban parks with a passive defense approach. In general, it can be stated that urban planners and designers should pay special attention to the indicators presented in the current research and based on prioritization for planning and designing urban parks with a passive   defense approach in order to create desirable urban parks. to be able to prepare these places to play their role in reducing damage in various crises and ultimately cause a sense of satisfaction and happiness among citizens.
