In this study, in order to produce thermal camouflage clothing and reduce the emission of thermal infrared waves, aluminum metal has been used as a coating on the fabric due to its low thermal emissivity, light weight, lack of oxidation in the short term, and also its cost-effectiveness. Aluminum coating on the fabric has been done through the blade deposition method. In addition to reducing thermal contrast, the desired fabric should also provide suitable breathability, high flexibility, low thickness, and high abrasion and washing stability. In this regard, the physical textile properties of the samples were tested and their thermal camouflage efficiency on the human forehead was evaluated. Based on the experimental results, the physical textile properties of the samples coated with aluminum are in accordance with the standard and the thermal contrast of the sample compared to the background is 42 percent. Also, by sewing a spacer fabric on the back of the produced sample, the thermal contrast has been improved by 57 percent.
